Experiences in nature
The first FeF Viaggi excursion will be on Mount Ascension on the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Ascension
In the past, many faithful left their villages on foot and reached the top of the mountain on pilgrimage. And after the religious celebrations, the celebration began among baskets full of food and barrel organs that marked the rhythm of the leap. Today the celebration has changed but we still want to savor that taste of conviviality and the desire to share!
The itinerary
We will meet in Ascoli Piceno and leave together towards the starting point: Polesio. Going up a stretch of asphalt road we will follow the ancient mule track to the summit! A magnificent view will open up before us: gullies, Ascoli Piceno and the Montagna dei Fiori, up to the Maiella if the sky is clear. Trallallero will be waiting for us, a folkloristic group that will make us stretch the jump to the rhythm. Packed lunch but, if you want, we can take care of it. Going back to the cars, anyone who wants can follow the afternoon celebrations in Polesio.

Useful information and what to pack
Trekking shoes, trekking poles, long trousers, shirt, fleece, jacket, k-way, sunglasses, backpack, hat. Packed snack and drinks. (Water at least 1 litre)
